Florence Deschamps began her path in fashion as a model during the momentous 60's and 70's in Paris. Hailing from Connecticut she arrived in Paris in 1961 starting a life in fashion with a career and experience spanning over 40 years.

Beginning with the promotion of Dorothee Bis, Madame Deschamps became the President of Comme des Garcons SA for 5 years. Launching the brand globally and jet starting one of the most successful fashion houses today.

After Comme des Garcons, her passion for creative fashion propelled her to begin Florence Deschamps Showroom with the goal of mentorship and international development for new designers. This has led her to work with designers such as Kenzo Takada for Takada, Colette Dinnigan, Louise Goldin, David Szeto and Heaven Tanudiredja.

For the past 10 years Florence Deschamps Showroom has been a driving force behind new and upcoming creative talent. Encompassing the belief that young talent is to be nurtured and developed they are prepared for the international stage in their own unique way.
