During my teenage years, I decided to learn something different and stepped onto the land of France. A completely different life journey.
In Paris, I lived with a French family, where I learned the French, the culture, the spirit and courtesy. I tried to study Computer Science, but I realized that I could not focus my life on it because it did not interest me at all. I was attracted by the exhibition and shows in the galleries and museums where I often visited.
In 2005, I was interviewed by President of Studio Berçot Ms. Marie Rucki, it was her who opened the door to fashion for me. Life in Studio Berçot was fun but challenging, I had to work part-time during weekend in order to purchase better materials for working better…. It was lucky to have professionals broaden my view and deepen my mind.
After graduation from Studio Berçot, I was recommended to work for Véronique Leroy. The days within Véronique Leroy refreshed my definition of the industrial Fashion, and it strengthened my passion in Fashion. Meanwhile, I spent spare time in working as stylist for European fashion magazines. In April of 2008, after years working in Fashion, I decided to launch up my own brand, and the brand eponymously named LUCIEN WANG.
Now, I could translate my idea into fashion. Fortunately, I am still enjoying doing my work today.
